JOB DETAIL

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Admin and Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development, with a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, configuration, and customization. The candidate should also have experience in implementing Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements, as well as working with cross-functional teams. The Salesforce Platform Admin and Developer is responsible to support the Salesforce Platform SaaS administration and ensure operational excellence and the optimal use of the platform working closely with the Platform Architect.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Salesforce Platform Operational Stability and maximize uptime and platform performance based on existing and new metrics

• Platform Administration (Critical updates, Batch Job management, Org status, Salesforce Support Case management and fixes, applications Installs (app exchange), storage management (monitoring and archiving), API consumption, platform health monitoring, etc.)

• Work closely with stakeholders (Business or Internal IT) to understand business and IT non-functional requirements and provide Salesforce Platform solutions to meet their needs.

• Focus on Platform Administration and Management with a good understanding of the business solutions.

• Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

• Configure Salesforce to support business processes, including setting up custom objects/fields, Flows, Validation rules, automations.

• Manage data imports/exports, data quality, and data security within Salesforce.

• Support Landscape Management and Administration.

• Support Coordination of the Salesforce 3 times year major release upgrades.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest Salesforce features and functionality as well as directional trends and emerging technologies in this space, and provide recommendations for improving the platform.

• Work with external vendors and partners to integrate Salesforce with other systems.

• Follow agile program/project management policies, standards, and procedures (SDLC) to ensure consistent and transparent execution across product areas in collaboration with scrum masters.

• Ensure design and implementation of technologies that comply with security standards and application architecture principles (in alignment with platform architects and

respective review boards) and analytics concepts.

• Able to bring forward opportunities for improvements by actively engaging in benchmarking with other solutions or best practices.

• Collaborate with other Developers to align on company standards.

• Alignment and Collaboration with our Integration, Data, Security and Analytics team for technology synergies and application use.

 

Professional Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• At least 3 years of experience in Salesforce administration and development.

• Salesforce Administrator (Basic and Advanced) and/or Developer (Platform Developer II and II) certifications are a plus.

• Salesforce experience with Sales, Service Clouds, preferably some knowledge in the Field Service Lightning space as well as B2B Lightning for Ecommerce.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud on a System Administrator and Developer Capacity with good knowledge of Platform Administration components

and Good understanding of Salesforce governor limits.

• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce platform out-of-the-box functionality, including best practices, security constructs, integration patterns and development options.

• Experience Integrating with other platforms and knowledge of different integration tools and integration patters.

• Experience with Apex Coding (Batch Classes, Triggers), Visualforce, Aura and Lightning Web components (LWC). Knowledge of Flows (and its predecessor like Process Builder

or workflow), declarative config, validations, etc.)

• Ability to troubleshoot and reverse analyze code (Debug Logs). Ability to analyze and interpret complex error messages, logs, and stack traces to identify root causes of

issues and implement appropriate solutions.

• Familiarity with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP, BULK APIs and third-party integrations.

• Experience with data management, including data imports/exports, data quality, and data security.

• Experience in DevOps including Solution support.

• Strong knowledge of SOQL queries, including complex queries with multiple object relationships and aggregation functions.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce Profile and Permission Set management, including creating and managing profiles and permission sets to control access to Salesforce objects, fields, records, and other resources.

• Good knowledge of landscape administration (sandbox administration) and code deployment tools (ANT, CI/CD i.e. “Copado”) and use of code repositories (git).
