- 4+ years of experience as a Unix / Linux Administrator
- Strong scripting experience – PowerShell, Unix, Linux
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical skills with the ability to self-manage projects/issues.
Preferred qualifications:
- RHEL-related certification (RHCSA/RHCE/RHCA)
- 3-5 years minimum of Linux experience in a production environment
- Proficient in supporting Apache with Tomcat applications or equivalent environment
- Working experience with messaging platforms/environments, e.g. MQSeries/DecMesssageQ/ActiveMQ
- Distributed printing, eg. CUPS, LRS/VPSx administration experience
- AIX server administration experience
- Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus.
