Responsibilities:
For BI Report Developer
We are seeking an experienced contractor who will be responsible for developing custom reports and dashboards using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau to provide insights for manufacturing operations.
The candidate will work closely with IT team to establish data warehousing and data virtualization solutions for various manufacturing systems like BOP (Bill of Process) and MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
Key Responsibility :
- Develop custom reports and dashboards using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau or any other visualization tools to support stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and enhance reports to provide actionable insights.
- Work with IT team to establish data warehousing and data virtualization solutions .
- Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions to ensure optimal performance and usability.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and data warehousing.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in developing custom report and dashboards using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Hands on experience with data warehousing and data virtualization solutions like Azure Data Warehouse, Snowflake and Denodo.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize query performance.
- Experience in working with manufacturing systems like BOP, MES etc.
- Experience in Critical Manufacturing MES is an added advantage.
- Knowledge in data modeling and ETL processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with an eye for details
