- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in administration of Windows servers and Active Directory (Manage group policy, group policy objects, users, and groups), PowerShell scripting, Windows server RDS Licensing configurations, IIS Web server administration & Windows server troubleshooting.
- Minimum of 5 Years experience in AWS Cloud systems administration, AWS Cloud Formation templates, AWS security (security groups, route tables, firewall rules), AWS EC2 and EBS, etc.
- Minimum of 5 Years experience in executing SQL Queries, basic SQL server management, and SSRS Reports administration.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing File and Share permissions and SFTP software like Tectia SSH Client/Server.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in Windows system upgrades, migration to latest versions, System patching, addressing security vulnerabilities and keeping servers with latest security compliance.
- Proficiency in working on Amazon Web Services (AWS) like CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, Route 53, RDS, Redshift in a highly available and scalable production environment.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment automation tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform
- Familiarity with Red Hat Linux, and other Unix based operating systems.
- Experience with web servers’ administration such as Microsoft IIS, and Apache.
- Systematic problem-solving approach and strong sense of ownership to drive problems to resolution.
- Provide top tier troubleshooting for Windows Server Operating System issues and creates and maintains documentation on how to resolve those issues in the future.
- Network knowledge (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, Load balancing) and prior network administration experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with middleware server administration like Apache Tomcat and/or Oracle WebLogic.
- Experience with scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience documenting processes, systems, environments, and runbook procedures
- Experience with source control tools such as GIT/GitHub/GitLab
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools, including AppDynamics, Moog-soft, AWS Cloud-watch, Splunk to ensure system visibility and proactive issue detection.
- Familiarity with ticketing software including ServiceNow, Jira, RemedyForce.
