13+ years of VB.NET, SQL Server, and C# development and support experience in an asset management firm, hedge fund, or broker/dealer, with consummate business knowledge.
Experience with the following is preferred, but not mandatory: Salesforce. Microsoft Power Platform
(Power BI, Automate, etc.). Python would be great.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, concise, transparent.
Support, maintain, enhance, and develop software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company,
Provide support during business hours and after hours/on-call as needed.
Collaborate with team and senior IT management to drive projects to completion.
Perform development duties using the following requirements:
Experience with at least one market data provider, such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv, MarkIT, etc.
Experience with at least one OMS/IMS, such as CRD, Bloomberg, Linedata, etc.
focusing on testability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
Work in an Agile environment in Azure DevOps (Pipelines, GitHub, Boards, Wiki, Test Plans, etc.).
Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS.
Microsoft .NET Console & WinForms applications.
Microsoft VB.NET, ASP.MVC, .NET Core.
Tidal as an enterprise scheduler, but UC4, Autosys, ActiveBatch, etc., will suffice.
