Responsibilities
· Elevate the PMO practices and presence to help mature the organization.
· Drives projects forward.
· Educates, coaches, implements, and maintains standard project management practices. For example, Executive roadmaps, RAID logs, status reports, project plans, critical path, project health, meeting minutes, steer co. materials, budgets, resource plans, etc.
· Must excel at risk management, resource management and project planning.
· Coordinating multiple teams, project managers and key stakeholders.
· Daily management through the life cycle of the program.
· Define the program controls, or the processes, procedures, reporting, etc., to manage the program.
· Plan the overall program and monitor progress to ensure that milestones are being met across various projects and programs.
· Manage the program budget as needed.
· Manage the risks and issues that might arise over the course of the program life cycle and take measures to correct them when they occur.
· Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies between the various projects and programs in the program.
· Manage and use resources across the various projects and programs in the program.
· Manage stakeholders who are involved in the projects and programs in the program.
· Make sure deliverables are aligned across the projects and programs in the program.
Experience
· Ability to flex and change around moving priorities.
· Ability to work in fast paced environment.
· Ability to work in traditional waterfall project.
· Some exposure or experience using Agile as a philosophy, scrum as a framework and/or JIRA as a tool.
· Some exposure or experience working with enterprise-level projects.
· Some exposure or experience working on diverse, cross-functional, remote teams.
· Strong communication skills, including group presentation and facilitation.
· Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
· Expert with Office 365 tooling, MS Teams, Visio.
