About the role:
As a Software Developer III on the Business Integrations team, you will be responsible for developing core applications, services/processes, and APIs utilized for A2A and B2B integrations. As a senior team member, you will act as a subject matter with in-depth experience in integration technologies and solutions, you will provide coaching and mentoring for other developers as well as input into integrations best practices.
What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate on a cross functional agile team to develop software solutions that meet customer needs
- Building solutions across the full stack; Web, front-end, back-end, and database
- Design and develop hybrid, on-prem and cloud-based solutions
- Participate and lead in the full SDLC, including technical research, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Develop and implement APIs and web based applications
- Actively participate and lead architectural design sessions
- Building industry leading solutions to help support rapid growth of our business
- Attend code deployment meetings up to 3 nights per week
- Participate in weekly support rotation (currently every 6th week on-call) resolving incidents/problems as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- MS in Computer Science and 7+ years of experience in software engineering, or 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 5+ years of hands-on full stack development experience in SQL Server, .NET framework and .NET 6, and C# programming language
- 5+ years of experience with Web Services, JavaScript frameworks, JSON, XML, REST Technologies
- 5+ years of experience working with a business integration platform (e.g. Boomi, MuleSoft Anypoint, Informatica B2B, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience in the configuration of adapters such as JMS, SFTP, SOAP, IDOC, Proxy, FTPS, web services, and iFlows
- 5+ years of experience integrating with third-party APIs
- 5+ years of experience in data transformation and mapping
- 3+ years of experience developing integrations for both on-prem AND cloud-based systems
- Experience with service bus and event hub solutions
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g. ADO, Jenkins)
- Experience with integration testing best practices
- Experience with code management technologies like Github and modern code management practices
- Extensive experience with horizontally scalable and highly available system design and implementation, with focus on performance and resiliency
- Strong sense of urgency, and willingness to commit extra effort to meet deadlines as required on a high profile and business critical program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed to collaborate closely with team members and leadership
