JOB DETAIL

  • Provide technical expertise and leadership in electrical engineering for aerospace systems.
  • Lead internal and customer design reviews, proposing problem-solving methodologies.
  • Research and develop technology with a focus on R&D and product development.
  • Analyze manufacturing techniques, materials, and properties for long-range engineering planning.
  • Communicate and coordinate with technical resources, offering recommendations and lessons learned.
  • Make technical proposals and presentations to internal and customer groups, influencing decisions.
  • Protect company intellectual property and engage in cross-functional communication.
  • Conduct analysis and tests for new designs, methods, materials, equipment, or processes.
  • Compile and analyze operation, test, and research data to establish performance standards.
  • Assess feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment.
  • Investigate and operationalize new technologies to improve cost and performance.
  • Apply advanced engineering design methods, theories, and research techniques.
  • Maintain advanced professional and technical knowledge through education and benchmarking.
  • Act as a consultant to management on technical and project-related matters.
  • Serve as a functional expert and mentor for other employees, identifying development needs.
  • Develop complex Analog and Digital designs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
  • Experience with Microprocessors, Micro Controllers, RAM, FLASH, ADC's, DAC's, and various interfaces.
  • Utilize industry-standard schematic entry tools and support new designs, production builds, and field issues.
  • Support product development throughout its life cycle, including design reviews and milestones.
  • Familiarity with aerospace standards such as DO-160, DO-254, ARP-4754, IS-25.981 is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
  • 4-8 years of relevant design experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient with software, data analysis, and engineering design tools.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
  • Ability to establish and track performance goals, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or internal teams.
