The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or similar certification
ESXI and Acropolis
Certification in Systems Administration (Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMware etc.)
8+ Years of Systems experience – preferably working from administrator to engineer to architect.
Experience translating and converting technical documentation into easy-to-understand terms.
Experience translating information and liaising with both engineers and project teams.
Experience with legacy technologies as it relates to servers and architectures.
Thorough understanding of data sharing / transferring protocols (CIFS share / NFS share / iSCSI / fibre channel (FC) networking / how does storage area network and client server communicate)
Thorough understanding of networking, server / client server communications, storage area networks, how a system works from the end-user back to data center
