The Informatica administrator is responsible for working with a global team to implement new etl processes, across multiple Data warehouse.
The ability to work on a team, communicate effectively, and provide a liaison relationship between technology and business will be key factors for success.
He/she will have ample learning opportunities and a platform to work on emerging technologies.
The candidate should be a self-starter and should be willing to work in fast-paced organization.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment
Ability to mentor others, including peers and application developers, clearly explain complex technical issues to business analysts and end users
Ability to monitor and troubleshoot the end to end data integration environment comprised of data sources, data workflows and transformations, operating systems, applications, app servers, networks
Day to day administration activities like user creation, folder creation, configuring DB connections
Capacity planning and on-going monitoring
Maintain and continuously improve Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (Tidal) orchestration process
Work with projects to ensure that Tidal integration is considered during planning and build phase of projects and across all SDLC environments that Tidal supports
Own and maintain documentation for Tidal work on new documentation that comes in through project or operational work for new jobs
Provide reporting related to Tidal and other scheduling parameters such as job trending and other resource utilization within the nightly batch schedule
Develop and test the integration solution individually or in collaboration with onsite/offshore development resources from external delivery partners
