We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect deep understanding of application modernisation from mainframe technologies to Azure and GCP Cloud technologies(AWS). The Mainframe Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex mainframe migration & modernisation solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to define and document modernisation solution requirements for mainframe systems.
- Design and architect scalable and reliable mainframe solutions for banking domain, including legacy system modernization, data integration, OLTP.
- Lead efforts to integrate mainframe environments into our DevOps pipelines, automating processes for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including system blueprints, data flow diagrams, and technical specifications for mainframe modernisation.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams in mainframe modernization design and implementation.
- Participate in project planning and oversee the development and deployment of solutions.
- Address technical challenges, system integration issues, and scalability concerns specific to mainframe systems.
