• Design and implement Splunk solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain Splunk deployment architecture, including indexers, search heads, and forwarders.
• Integrate Splunk with various data sources, including but not limited to security information and event management (SIEM) systems, log sources, and other enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of Splunk into the existing IT infrastructure.
• Customize Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts to meet specific business needs.
• Optimize Splunk configurations for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
• Implement security best practices to safeguard Splunk deployments.
• Ensure Splunk configurations comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution for Splunk-related incidents.
• Collaborate with support teams to address and resolve technical issues.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for Splunk architecture, configurations, and processes.
• Train and mentor other team members on Splunk best practices and usage.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Splunk Architect in enterprise-level environments.
• Splunk certifications, such as Splunk Certified Architect or Splunk Certified Consultant, are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, systems, and security.
• Proficient in SPL (Search Processing Language) and Splunk Query Language.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
