• BS Degree in Business or Computer Science and/or 5+ years of applicable experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in project management
• Experienced in project discovery and the ability to understand and manage requirements.
• Experience with SAFe.
• Experience working through a procurement process.
• Experience and ability to manage team impediments.
• Experience creating and managing project charters.
• Experience with Jira.
• Thorough knowledge of project cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, funding, and estimation of resources.
• Ability to draft statements of work for a attaining resources.
• Ability to calculate and report return on investment.
• Thorough knowledge and application of project management theories and practices.
• Extensive knowledge of the information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of Microsoft products: Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio Plus Microsoft Teams.
• Ability to lead project teams by encouraging and influencing others to perform.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to develop and implement training of project management theories and methodology.
Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports:
This role does not provide direct supervision to direct reports.
Personal Work Relationships
The individual will be expected to partner with agency personnel and related stakeholders working towards completion of assigned projects. Exceptional customer service is expected when working with agency partners and others.
