Key Responsibilities :
- Define and document the current Data Model.
- Define Data Architecture and set up in GCP environment with GCP Big Query.Design and implement scalable, reliable, and high-performance data architecture solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability
- Develop data models, diagrams, and documentation to effectively communicate data structures, relationships, and data flow across systems
- Design, develop and implement data ingestion pipelines to collect, process, and store large and complex datasets using GCP technologies.
- Design and implement data platforms using GCP services such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataflow.
- Develop data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into GCP.
- Incorporate analytics tools like GCP Google Looker Studio or Power BI
- Assist Data migration from core transactional systems into the Data Lake
- Define data integration strategies and work with developers to ensure efficient data movement between various sources and destinations
- Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of Cloud Data Platform systems.
- Lead efforts to create and maintain data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality and consistency
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimize database performance, indexing strategies, and data storage solutions
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data management and architecture
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance data architecture and analytics capabilities
- Participate in data-related projects, providing insights and recommendations on data architecture, design, and implementation
Technical Experience :
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data solutions
Proficiency in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Experience with GCP Cloud Data technologies such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, GCP tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data-related challenges
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Leadership qualities to guide and inspire cross-functional teams and drive data architecture initiatives.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and practices is a plus
Relevant certifications in data architecture, database management, or related fields are advantageous.
- Professional Attributes : 10 Plus yr of exp in IT industry with minimum 5 years of experience in Data analysis, designing and architect.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
