JOB DETAIL

  1. Production support of current PeopleSoft applications: HCM 9.2, ELM 9.2, FSCM 9.2, Portal
  2. Peoplesoft application administration for all environments: Development, Test, Production, Production Support, and Training.
  3. Customization (enhancements) development starting from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, through production migration and support.

Roles/Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and troubleshoot bug fixes, defects, configuration issues.
  • Provide knowledge and recommendations on PeopleSoft technical issues.
  • Works with Functional Analysts in design, development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of Peoplesoft customizations.
  • Code and unit tests PeopleSoft customizations.
  • Migrate projects/objects from development to test.
  • Prepare production migration requests with all supporting information for move to production environment.

Mandatory Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, as determined by the AOC.
  2. Three (3) years’ expert experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM, HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant role.
  3. Three (3) years’ expert experience in PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI/XML Publisher, Integration Broker, PS Query reporting, Security configuration, AWE, CI, and Process Scheduler.
  4. Experience with the following:
    1. PeopleSoft upgrades and testing.
    2. PeopleSoft selective adoption process.
  5. Expert level knowledge of the following:
    1. SDLC methodology and processes.
    2. SQL.
    3. Oracle 19C databases.
    4. REST-based webservers.
    5. App Designer.
    6. SQR.
    7. AWE.
    8. PeopleCode.
  6. Ability to provide expert customer service.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Five (5) years’ expert experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM, HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant role.
  2. Five (5) years’ expert experience in PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI/XML Publisher, Integration Broker, PS Query reporting, Security configuration, AWE, CI, and Process Scheduler.

Additional Information: 

  • Candidate MUST have at least 10 years of total IT experience* 
  • Candidate MUST provide three (3) references within the past five (5) years, from different clients
  • Onsite for two (2) days per week at 189 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401. Remote for three (3) days per week at a suitable off-site location. (The AOC reserves the right to determine an off-site location is not suitable)
  • On-site support may be required, to manage production application issues, security threats, or critical Initiatives. Candidate must be able to report on-site within four (4) hours after notification.
  • Candidate shall perform during normal operating hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST)
  • Depending upon project requirements (e.g., Go Lives), candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Candidate shall be available to provide on-call operational support as required outside normal operating business hours.
