JOB DETAIL

1.       Architectural Design:

·Lead the design and implementation of migration strategies of banking core solutions, considering industry best practices, regulatory compliance, and scalability.

·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust and efficient architectural designs.

·Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to meet the organization's banking core needs.

·Lead data mapping and data management exercises.

·Define solution to migration of data and documents required for regulator compliance and data retention needs.

1.       System Integration:

·Design and oversee the integration of banking core systems with third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

·Work closely with vendors and external partners to evaluate and integrate new technologies that enhance the functionality and efficiency of banking core solutions.

·Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and security protocols.

·Identify most effective migration strategies – system-based automation, RPA based automation, manual entry - and make detailed pro-con analysis along with summary recommendations for executives.

·Identify and recommend most effective test strategies for full coverage of functional validation and data quality verification.

1.       Performance Optimization:

·Analyze and optimize the performance of existing systems and integrations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance speed, reliability, and efficiency.

1.       Collaboration and Communication:

·Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to align technology solutions with business objectives.

·Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

1.       Documentation:

·Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for architectural designs, system configurations, and integration patterns.

·Provide training and guidance to technical teams on the implementation and maintenance of banking core solutions.

·Ensure that all program and project related documents are capturing right level of details and decision criteria based on technical recommendations for audit and control.

Qualifications:

·Experience in a Bank / Credit Union or financial banking services

·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in the financial services industry, with a focus on banking core solutions.

·In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, including but not limited to deposit processing, loan origination, and customer relationship management.

·Proficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, and integration technologies commonly used in banking core solutions.

·Strong understanding of industry regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards related to banking operations.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

·Should have solid understanding of Fiserv’s DNA product

·Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., FIS, Fiserv, Temenos).

·Certification in relevant technologies or architecture frameworks.
