JOB DETAIL

• Collaborate with the team on application development

• Develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business

• Recommend IT processes to bring new and more efficient functionality.

• Analyse and identify technical errors within the system, resolving them without affecting system performance.

• Develop, monitor, and upgrade ServiceNow solutions and components.

• Provide deployment support for ServiceNow applications

• Design, customize, engineer, and test ServiceNow services in a multi-tier environment

• Provide alternate design solutions along with project estimates

• Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams

• Troubleshoot production support issues post release deployment and produce solutions.

• Predict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them

• Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business

• Participate in the development of business strategy

• Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

• Function as a mentor for junior ITSM personnel, providing assistance where needed

• The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements.

• Install, maintain, configure/reconfigure, and support hosted ServiceNow instances, production and non-production

• Assist in conceptualizing, designing, and maturing ITIL v3 processes

• Assist in conceptualizing, designing, and maturing of enterprise CMDB

• Supports adherence to relevant SOX, PCI, ITIL, corporate security or other applicable compliance standards.

• Participates in the design, specification, and implementation of business and technology projects, to create appropriate monitoring and integration with ServiceNow.

• Assist developing ITSM roadmap. Analyze and recommend emerging ITSM technologies that can provide benefit while reducing risk.

• Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Work Experience

• 4 years of experience in ITSM process and tool administration / management, including ITIL practices

• 3 years of engineering / systems administration experience with the ServiceNow application

Required Education

• High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study

• BA/BS degree desired or equivalent year-for-year work experience.

• ITIL v3 Foundation training or certification required.

• ServiceNow System Administration.

• ServiceNow Advanced System Administration.

• Scripting in the ServiceNow environment.

Preferred ServiceNow Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing ITSM process / tools

• SN Virtual Agent

• Service Portal Support and Design

• Integration experience using web service calls

• Hardware/Software Asset Management

• ITSM / ITOM – Inc, PRB, CHG, Event Management

• ITBM Financials

• ITBM Agile Release Management
