The IT Project Manager is recognized as the expert in managing strategic cross-functional projects by example and therefore establishing confidence in the IT Governance model to proliferate wide-spread adoption.  Position requires acute understanding Project Management fundamentals.  Successful candidate will possess confidence, leadership, influence, and superb communication skills.  Position will report to the Director of IT Project Governance but will work closely with the other IT Services Lanes and Operations.

Mandatory: - PMP certification, 10+ years combined IT and healthcare experience, ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and MS Project.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

•             Manage strategic projects according to IT Governance standards and set the example for others to follow.  Manage many projects simultaneously.

•             Organize project structure, i.e., projects and subprojects with consideration to the dependencies and constraints in the best way to achieve the overall the overall goal.

•             Facilitate meetings with project teams that result in everyone understanding their role and deliverables and garner progress toward Project goals

•             Prepare and deliver formal communication with senior leaders, stakeholders, all levels of management, and working teams

•             Appropriately assess project risk and manage/report it

•             Measure Project results, create status dashboards/scorecards

•             Operate with a high degree of consideration for transparency and the integrity of the practice by driving compliance with system security, applicable rules and regulations, policy and sound ethical judgement

•             Collaborate with teammates and senior leaders to continuously improve the project governance model and processes

•             Operate with a limited level of direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement and autonomy

•             Must be technical enough to elicit precise information from technical teams and fluent enough to relate it to non-technical teams

•             Advanced level skills in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint and MS Project required

Desired Professional Skills and Experience

•             PMP certification

•             10+ combined IT and healthcare experience

•             Project Management Body of Knowledge, business analysis as well as budgeting and finance principles

•             1 year experience working in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and MS Project

•             Strong work ethic with ability to self-start and work independently or as part of a diverse team

•             Detail oriented and organized

•             Fast learner that is adaptable to new technologies and applications

•             Positive attitude

•             Bachelor’s Degree preferred

•             Communication skills, written and verbal – excellent grammar, punctuation, business writing, presentation and facilitation skills

•             Good at creating charts and visual aids to relate information in a concise manner

•             Experience using ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management SPM on Paris or higher preferred

•             A general knowledge of the healthcare and Radiology technical workflow including experience integrating or supporting PACS, RIS, DICOM or HL7 interface engines, Voice Rec and Worklist Management systems desired.
