The applications supporting the Member Engagement division were built using Microsoft technology. C#, MS SQL Server, WCF, and Entity Framework are some of the technologies we use. For the last 2 years we have been modernizing our technology stack and rewriting some applications for AWS, with REACT and AWS services as the building blocks.

For this role very strong C# knowledge is required. Being knowledgeable in windows forms development (thick clients) and SQL server is also required. Much of the work for this role is to analyze existing functionality, implement features, code refactoring, fix bugs, and implement data fixes. We have existing system documentation, training, and will be available for questions, but it is important that they are a self-starter as they will have to learn the system, solve problems, and mentor others as they are onboarded.

The agile team owns the application and codebase and is expected to share responsibility for building new features, ensuring existing functionality continues to operate, and propose and implement improvements that make sense given the application lifecycle stage. Team members are empowered to own their tasks from beginning to end, driving them to closure. The ecosystem is at the beginning stages of being modernized using the latest AWS technologies and over time, where it makes sense, the team and its members will transition to the new applications.

Day-to-day activities include:

* Participates in the design, development, and operation of the applications.

* Participate in code reviews.

* Provide hands-on coding of C# /windows forms and MS SQL Server.

* Develop in-depth knowledge of applications and cloud infrastructure within application portfolio.

What are the requirements?
