1. Scrum Process Facilitation:
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) to ensure their effectiveness.
- Maintain the Scrum framework and ensure its adherence.
-Sprint reviews/demos – Own retrospectives and demo ceremonies. Drive the meeting, note areas for improvement and action items for future sprints.
2. Team Support:
- Coach and mentor the Scrum Team on Agile principles and practices.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Remove impediments or blockers that hinder the team's progress and manage internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements.
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
3. Product Backlog Management:
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to groom and prioritize the product backlog.
- Ensure that user stories are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development.
• Jira Board administration – Work as the administrator of the scrum board. Ensure that cards are up to date and the scrum tool, Jira software or otherwise, is working well.
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
4. Metrics and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on team progress using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.).
- Identify areas for improvement and work with the team to address them.
- Regular analysis of burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools to understand what gets built and at what cadence.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate communication between the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure that the team's progress and achievements are visible to all relevant parties.

6. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve the Scrum process and implement changes.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and lead a development team.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
