JOB DETAIL

You have a strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services with 6-8 years of experience working with Amazon Redshift. Key responsibilities and qualifications include:

Expert understanding of Amazon Redshift architecture, configuration and performance optimization best practices. This includes managing user access, workload management (WLM), SQL optimization, materialized views, and result caching.
Experience with Redshift cluster management including deployment, security, scaling, monitoring, troubleshooting, backups, and disaster recovery.
Skills in data analysis, database query performance tuning, and optimizing table design to improve query speed.
Familiarity with integrating Redshift with other AWS services such as S3, EMR, RDS, DynamoDB, and federated queries.
Experience with Redshift data shares, cross-account snapshots, and spectrum for cost optimization.
Development expertise with Redshift SQL, stored procedures, indexing, sorting, and materialized views.
Ability to monitor database health, review logs, analyze queries, identify performance bottlenecks, and resolve issues.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and help develop Redshift best practices.
As a Senior Redshift Database Engineer, you will architect, implement, optimize, and support the Redshift data warehouse environment to enable advanced analytics and reporting
