Responsibilities
• Maintain active relationships with Product Owner to understand business requirements, participate in requirement gathering meetings and review designs with the product owner and architects
• Own backlog items and coordinate with other team members to develop the features planned for each sprint
• Perform technical design reviews and code reviews; review test cases and QA automation processes
• Be Responsible for prototyping, developing, and troubleshooting software in the user interface or service layers
• Perform peer reviews on source code to ensure reuse, scalability and the use of best practices
• Participate in collaborative technical discussions that focus on software user experience, design, architecture, and development; be ready to take ownership of key projects and initiatives when the need arises
• Perform demonstrations for client stakeholders on project features and sub features, which utilizes the latest Front end and Backend development technologies
Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in Java and Angular environment - develop and maintain backend
• 5+ years of experience in Angular framework development - develop and maintain UI screens
• Java/JEE, Spring, Spring boot, Microservices, REST/SOAP web services, Hibernate, SQL,Tomcat, EC2, Agile, Jenkins, NoSQL database knowledge
• Angular 11, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript
• Periodically conduct JDK & Angular upgrades to maintain security standards and capabilities
• Operate in a 24x7 environment; support on-call coverage 12x7 for at least 1-2 weeks a month
• Skills in developing applications using multi-tier architecture
• Skills in Unit testing application using Junit or similar tools
• Well adept with application migrations and framework upgrades; must have worked on large scale applications serving 100K customers or more
• Familiar with SonarQube
• Leadership skills to mentor juniors
• Knowledge of at least 1 Cloud technology, services and functions - AWS or GCP preferable
• Highly familiar with interfaces such as REST web services, swagger profiles, JSON payloads
• Solid experience in Object-Oriented Programming and Application Multithreading
• Ability to work in a hybrid model: 3 days in office and 2 days remote
• Capability to support QA teams with test plans, root cause analysis and defect fixing
• Strong experience in Responsive design, cross browser web applications
• Strong knowledge of web service models
• Strong knowledge in creating and working with APIs
• Familiar with tools/utilities such as Bitbucket / Jira / Confluence
