• BS/BA in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics/Statistics field

• 2+ years of Machine-Learning experience

• AWS Sagemaker

• LLM (Llama, Mistral, etc.)

• R or Python

• AWS Certifications (Data Science, Data Engineer, Solution Architect, Machine-learning, etc.) or similar certification is highly preferred!

Preferred, but not Required:

• Graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative fields such as Statistics

• Is a Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), or Open Group Certified Data Scientist

• Java experience

Job Description:

• Construct algorithms and writing computer programs to perform Descriptive (what happened), Diagnostic (why it happened), Predictive (what will happen), and Prescriptive analytics on large datasets

• Identify/Assess/Validate data sources and create automated collection processes, as well as assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

• Undertake the preprocessing of structured and unstructured data

• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms; also, develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to datasets.

• Modify, create, and deploy applications using foundation models and llms, to solve generative AI challenges

• Present information using data visualization techniques

• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
