JOB DETAIL

• This requires the person to be an excellent communicator, adjusting communication style andmessages to varying audiences to ensure understanding.

• The primary duty of this Business Analyst position is to act as a liaison among business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to information systems, business processes, and policies, as applicable. This position collects, clarifies, and translates business requirements into design documentation, from which applications and solutions are developed.

Documentation will include use of standard tools, Clarity PPM, Keylight (GRC tool), Azure Dev Ops, and Excel.

• 10 years of experience developing large scale software systems, using agile methodology and frameworks. Ability to write user stories to support Agile development. Collection of stories and other

requirements are recorded in Azure DevOps.

• 10 years of experience directing the analysis, definition, and documenting of system and business requirements with clients, for large scale systems. Business process design and re-engineering.

Communication and translating requirements between the business and technical teams.

• 10 years of experience facilitate, capture, organize and document business requirements from all stakeholders, including business-side employees, product owners, and technical resources. Requirement’s analysis and the ability to decipher what is said to what is really wanted or needed.

• 10 years of experience developing technical designs in consultation with application/solution architects to set direction of design and development for large application development projects. Review technical design and specification for completeness and conformance to quality standards, especially as a mentor to less experienced business analysts. Also experience in the use of responsive design application development with a focus on human centric designs.

• 5 years of experience as a Programmer Analyst with these software systems could include language such as JAVA, .net framework, asp.net, .NET Core, CSS, MVC, C++, C#.net, VB.net and JavaScript.

• Fully understands modern application architectures – three-tier, distributed, centralized, microservices, etc., with experience in REST API. Understands implement requirements of the API layer

like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request, and response modifications, etc.

• Provide research and input for the development of Statements of Work (SOW) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for selected solutions.

• Experience in artifact reviews with peers, programmer analysts, security architects and other client entities to ensure IT solutions and applications adhere to policies, standards, or guidelines.

• Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases

 

We need a staff Aug with below specified requirements:

• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and process modeling.

• Knowledge of IT project planning, development, and implementation with the ability to apply that knowledge to the development of requirements and Request for Proposals (RFP) narrative.

• Knowledge and skills in project management and related methodologies e.g., PMI, or other industry accepted standard.

• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle and related methodologies e.g., Agile, CMMI, or other industry standard.

• Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles.

• Knowledge of computer programming, data modeling, and object-oriented programming procedures and techniques.

• Knowledge of application development environments and related tools.

• Experience in the estimation, planning and forecasting of projects.

• Experience in the documenting and gathering business, functional or technical requirements for software projects.

• Ability to effectively make oral and written reports and presentations.

• Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications, MS Project and Visio.

• Ability to draft requirements for Request for Proposals (RFP) for the procurement of IT solutions and services.

• Ability to participate in large IT procurement projects from initiation through vendor selection to implementation.

• Ability to conduct data and/or requirements gathering meetings (JAD or JAR sessions), with adherence to meeting agenda, documentation of meeting outcomes, and the ability to drive Action Items to

closure.

• Ability to perform project level analysis and produce project analysis documentation such as swim lanes, sequence diagrams, use cases, etc.

• Ability to work on complex business problems, analyzing and evaluating current business methods and procedures for improvements.
