We are trying to source Sr. Power BI Cons for a Long - Term Project for our direct client for an Onsite position at Long Island City, NY. We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with a deep understanding of Azure technologies. This role is essential for the development, management, and optimization of Power BI reports and dashboards, integrated with Azure services like Data lake, Synapse Analytics, and Data Bricks.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in DAX, Python, Synapse notebooks, and Spark languages contributing to effective data management and reporting solutions that support the Client’s objectives.
It will be a Long-Term Onsite position (From Day 1) at Long Island City, NY.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
- Build effective and visually pleasing dashboards / reports to represent the story to answer those business questions with the help of data.
- Analyze data and present information through informative visuals and reports to aid decision[1]making.
- Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and work with the data team to resolve them.
- Collaborate with various departments within the client to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in BI technologies to continually improve the organization's data intelligence capabilities.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for the client staff, enhancing their Power BI skills and promoting a data-driven culture.
- Provide technical assistance and training to Power BI users within the client, promoting effective use of BI tools.
- Apply best practices through the development lifecycle.
- Participate in developing BI strategies and roadmaps, incorporating AI and machine learning techniques to align with the SCA's objectives.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with expertise in DAX queries, data visualization, gateways, content packs, and connectors.
- Expert creating different visualization's using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.
- In-depth experience with Power BI (Data cleaning, Modelling and visualization)
- Experience in applying AI and machine learning techniques in data analytics.
- Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Quick learner, self-motivated and has the ability to work independently.
