·Looking for an SAP FICO Functional Consultant to work in Chicago, IL or Indianapolis, IN or Louisville, KY or Cincinnati, OH
·10+ years of experience in IT Consulting with 6+ years as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant
·Experience in working with Business (Finance) and IT teams to define, design, and implement business solutions in a methodical manner
·Experience with at least 2 full life cycle implementations in the capacity of an SAP FICO Functional Consultant
Responsibilities:
·Apply business processes understanding to effectively perform AS-IS and TO-BE analysis, define requirements, play back to Finance team, and facilitate requirements finalization
·Act as a liaison between Business functions and IT teams
·In-depth understanding of Costing & Inventory reconciliation process and proven ability to interpret business need to technical and operational requirements
·Convert requirements to solution design and work with technical teams (SAP and non-SAP) by assisting the build of implementation/migration plan
·Well-versed with best business practices related to functional solution and associated process to ensure effective communication to stakeholders on pros and cons of deviation from such practices
·Ability to work with other system owners, like AS400, to ensure impacts on such systems, integrations, and any change management needed operationally for transaction processing efficiencies
·Ability to make configurations and related changes, limit, or eliminate customizations
·Coordinate with technical team on development and customization needs
·Modify functional specifications as needed and incorporate design changes
·Well-versed with workflows, controls, and user management related needs for the solution
·Possess strong presentation and communication skills to work with various stakeholders on the steering committee
Qualifications:
·10+ years of experience in IT Consulting with 6+ years as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant
·Experience with at least 2 full life cycle implementations in the capacity of an SAP FICO Functional Consultant
·Experience in working with Business (Finance) and IT teams to define, design, and implement business solutions in a methodical manner
·Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
·Current SAP Certified Application Associate is preferred
