JOB DETAIL

  • Provide the most senior technical leadership on multiple, diverse and complex Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) projects simultaneously providing guidance to project managers, technical leads and senior developers.  
  • Deliver effective consulting services and lead ambassadorship in our client relationships.
  • Analyze the technical requirements of enterprise scale projects based on business requirements received from multiple client departments. 
  • Support consulting representation in sophisticated solution selling, collaborating with Sales to define initial architectural approaches and identify potential challenges and associated solutions.
  • Define all integration points between AEM and whatever enterprise systems are found within a client technology ecosystem. For example, integrations with e-commerce platforms (Magento a plus), CRM, ERP, Search, and etc.  
  • Provide technical leadership in sophisticated AEM-centric digital marketing solutions. Lead solution architecture design, guide and mentor teams to develop high quality solutions.
  • Lead technical deep dives and troubleshooting exercises for client AEM implementations both with the company's resources and clients' experts  
  • Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services  
  • Setup and configuration of AEM development environments  
  • Setup and configuration of AEM Author and Publish instances and ensuring all code works in both environments.  
  • Setup and configuration of dispatcher or proxy to run in front of AEM.  
  • Translating business requirements into technical details relevant to AEM.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Proficiency of Object-Oriented Programming Methodology & Practice, ideally with designing and programming of applications using Object Oriented Programming Methodology applying Java language constructs.
  • Experience optimizing web solutions and architecting to accommodate performance requirements.
  • Web portal back-end development experience  
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS  
  • Debugging and appropriate debugging tools usage skills in general TCP/IP networking, UNIX Operating system, HTTP protocol and request processing, SMTP, etc.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines. 
  • Knowledge in the Sling or OSGi frameworks, JCR API, RESTful principles or ExtJS framework, Dispatcher or CDNs a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience in the development industry.
