These Data warehouse and business intelligence positions are required to support the continued development and maintenance of DW/BI solutions in response to critical ITS initiatives as well as requirements from various agencies. These positions will also develop and maintain ETL solutions, operational reports, executive dashboards, and analytics. Additionally, these positions respond to all data warehouse and BI related ad hoc inquiry requests, development of dashboard features, and development of BI technical solutions for continued reporting requirements.
Duties
- Gather and validate of BI and reporting requirements.
- Document requirements & solutions
- Perform Data profiling on the source (OLTP) systems.
- Design and review dimensional models to support data warehouse and data marts.
- Perform Source to Target Mapping between source system database and data warehouse target database.
- Develop ETL transformations using one of the ETL tools like r SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
- Develop reports and analytics using one of the tools like SQL Server Reporting Services
- Develop complex queries using Transact-SQL leveraging analytic functions.
- Perform necessary Testing.
- Complete Documentation.
Mandatory Requirements
- Experience (10+ Years)
- Works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms - beyond that of a Programmer.
Requirements

- 84 months of experience in building extraction and transformation of transactional data to drive data warehouse loads and end user BI as well as reporting requirements using ETL tools like SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- 60 months of experience in reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- 84 months of experience in complex SQL development leveraging analytics functions using in SQL Server or Oracle.
- 84 months of experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development.
- 60 months of experience in Dimensional or OLTP Modeling to support data warehouse environments.
- 84 months of experience in internal and external stakeholder communications and outreach, including the development of presentations and other material.
