Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Developer with expertise in PHP and MongoDB to join our team remotely. If you have a strong background in data management, performance optimization, and experience with MongoDB and Doctrine, we want you!
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP, Symfony, and MongoDB.
- Identify areas for modification in existing programs and develop required changes.
- Collaborate with other developers to ensure effective component interaction.
- Manage back-end services and data interchange.
- Work with the development team on new features and bug fixes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Review code submissions for adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize database performance and scalability.
- Design, implement, and maintain MongoDB and Doctrine database systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Strong MongoDB understanding.
- Solid OOP fundamentals.
- Experience with Agile, test-driven, and Scrum development.
- Knowledge of ORM/ODM.
- Familiarity with load balancing and Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (preferred).
- Familiarity with monitoring, alerting tools, and data analysis (preferred).
- Experience with Symfony, Doctrine, or React (preferred).
- Understanding of HIPAA and EU Data Privacy Directive (a plus).
