Requirements

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience with an end-to-end selling motion, ideally with knowledge of CRM, quoting/contracting, or back-office (deal desk, order management, and provisioning processes) desirable. 
  • Experience developing and communicating strategic roadmaps and achieving agreement with senior leadership.
  • Proficient with using Agile and Waterfall methodologies to activate operational scale, innovation, and high-quality business outcomes on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences, and communicate successfully with individual contributors, management, and executives. 
  • Strong soft skills with a distinctive ability to empower, motivate and influence others without authority or a direct reporting relationship. 
  • Bachelor's degree required.

The Opportunity

The Fit Gap Product Manager oversees the assessment and alignment of software solutions with specific business requirements, ensuring a seamless integration by identifying and addressing functional gaps.

  • Envision how people, processes, policies, and technologies can be applied, optimized, and improved to support sales & finance systems integration onto target capabilities.
  • Be a champion for the business teams by representing end-to-end processes and strategies needed to support fit-gap integration work. 

What You'll Do

  • Navigate the needs of multiple cross-functional teams to resolve dependencies and contending priorities, achieving consensus on what is best to scale Customer. 
  • Develop essential artifacts such as Value/Success Metrics, Scope, MVPs, Epics, Business Requirement Documents, and Business Process Flows.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to anticipate future business needs and align Customer's selling motion to target architecture.
  • Coordinate with engineering, product managers, office of the CIO (program management, change management, etc.), and the transformation office to effectively resolve cross-team product issues.
  • Analyze business processes, conduct thorough product evaluations, and define functional requirements, and bridge the gap between existing systems and desired outcomes.
  • Define and detail processes, policies, success metrics, reports, risks/dependencies, and mitigation plans. 
  • Plan and conduct stakeholder interviews to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare fit-gap outcomes for the requirements and design phase where detailed user stories will be captured. 
  • Receive sign off from business stakeholders and achieve Concept Accept (CA); acquire approval from Executive Leadership on prioritization, funding, and commitment to key initiatives.
