JOB DETAIL

Insight Global is looking for a candidate to join an Infrastructure Applications team to become their Infrastructure Application Administrator with experience in project management. The Application Administrator will be responsible for the architecture, design, planning, testing, implementation, and administration of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and security applications. They will work in a team environment that provides cost-effective IT infrastructure application services to the various business units. The Infrastructure Application Administrator will also work closely with other areas to ensure optimum reliability and cohesiveness.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Application Administrator will also be responsible for managing projects and collaborating with project teams members, stakeholders and users to maintain consistent project implementation.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical
Strong general troubleshooting skills between server and client computers.
Knowledge of Active Directory architecture and maintenance, including:
oTroubleshooting replication issues when they occur.
oLDAP authentication, setting up and troubleshooting.
oDNS and WINS administration and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting, at least two years.
Familiarity with alerting platforms.
Knowledge of Windows-based server operating systems, including Server 2016 and 2019.
Knowledge of server-based applications and their dependencies.
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange and Exchange online
Familiar with common network protocols, basics of switching and routing.
Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint and Visio).
Non-Technical
Must have project management skills and understanding of project management methodologies
Must have experience in managing projects.
Must be able to work successfully and productively on their own, as well as in teams.
Experience with regulatory requirements, for example, NERC CIP, SOX, PCI, and/or HIPPA.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferably has experience working in an enterprise environment.
Familiarity with enterprise Infrastructure Applications, including:
oMicrosoft O365 (Forms and Automation, SharePoint, Teams)
oEnterprise batch scheduling software.
oCisco ISE
oRSA
oSplunk
oSolar Winds Orion
oVMWare Horizon Virtual Desktop, and Application Publishing.
