•          Engage in translating business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models, who may focus on issues such as reducing redundancy of data within an existing computer system or improving the way in which it moves from one system to another. Knows how to extract meaning from and interpret data, which requires both tools and methods from statistics and machine learning.
