Years of experience: 7+

The candidate should have solid back end specific experience. Must have solid experience in Java, Spring framework, Microservices, SQL database, JUnit and FitNesse (testing) and Docker.

Financial industry experience is highly preferred. Nice to have experience in Python.

No front end required for this role.

Must Haves: Java experience is a must. Experience in the Financial Industry is a must have. Solid Understanding with SQL is a must.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience.

7 years of collective experience of Java, Java frameworks, Spring, Web Services, SQL, Jenkins, Code Repository: Git, Unix, Linux. Solid Understanding with databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server).

7+ years of application development and support coupled with infrastructure experience.

7 years of hands-on experience building solutions in Java.

Nice to have experience in HTML, Bootstrap, JDBC, ODBC, Nginx and Gunicorn (Web Servers).

Experience using GitLab, Git TeamForge, Conda, Artifactory and Docker. Experience working in a test-driven continuous integration continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment.
