Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Python Developer with a strong background in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The ideal candidate should possess in-depth expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Kubernetes Service (GKS), Python programming, Ansible, and Terraform. This role is remote, allowing for flexibility and collaboration with a geographically distributed team.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Automation:

Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
Create Ansible playbooks for configuration management and automation.
Cloud Expertise:

Extensive hands-on experience with GCP, including services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Networking.
Proficiency in managing containerized applications using GKS.
Python Development:

Develop scalable and efficient Python applications to support infrastructure automation and tooling.
Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
Monitoring and Reliability:

Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for infrastructure and applications.
Work on improving system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide solutions.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Security Best Practices:

Implement and adhere to security best practices in infrastructure and code.
Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in software development and DevOps/SRE roles.
Proven expertise in GCP, GKS, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
Strong background in infrastructure as code and automation.
Experience with container orchestration and Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
