JOB DETAIL

Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems

Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems

Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies

Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience

Experience working on the Salesforce Financial Service Cloud implementations in a multi org structure and development of REST APIs.

Understanding of both how to enhance the platform using configuration and code (Apex & Lightning Components)

Excellent relationship building skills with demonstrated ability to align leaders, craft a vision and solve complex business problems

Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud experience

Ability to mentor, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals

Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes.

Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI / CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security

Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Preferred qualifications  

Experience designing, configuring and creating Salesforce solutions from scratch

An understanding of the sales process to better align changes to the CRM platform

Familiar with modern technology and architecture (cloud, virtualization, object stores, etc.as well as with SDLC tools and agile development methodology )

In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
