JOB DETAIL

The project involves the implementation of Copperleaf, an asset investment planning tool for Electric utilities. We will be integrating data sets from Palantir Foundry (primarily), SAP, and GIS into Copperleaf and creating reports in support of investment strategy for the Investment Planning and Integrated Grid Planning teams.

The Solution Architect should be versed in Copperleaf and prefer that they have worked on a project implementing Copperleaf or a similar investment planning tool at a utility. The asset types we will focus on will be Electric Distribution, Transmission, and Substation

  • Copperleaf Implementation
  • Remote, with onsite as needed, one day a month; onsite
  • A client laptop will be provided.

Roles and responsibilities:

· Works in partnership with a project manager to orchestrate the architecture design and is accountable for the overall technical quality of solutions. Follows the IT Methodology, producing, contributing to, and providing signoffs on deliverables as defined.

· Expert in the solution architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices.

Required technical experience:

  • Solution Architects should be versed in Copperleaf and prefer that they have worked on a project implementing Copperleaf or a similar investment planning tool at a utility.
  • Process design, information modeling, and/or system solution architecture development with project or portfolio focus
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools
  • Experience providing direction to design and engineering staff.
  • Ability to engage and collaborate with IT and business leadership.
  • Demonstrates thought leadership in the area of expertise.
  • Clear and concise communication skills
