We are seeking an experienced Microservices Architect with a strong background in eCommerce, particularly in Cart and Checkout systems. As a Microservices Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable and efficient microservices architecture for our eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in crafting robust solutions that enhance the performance, reliability, and user experience of our Cart and Checkout processes.

 

Responsibilities:

 

    Microservices Architecture:

        Design, develop, and implement microservices architecture for our eCommerce platform.

        Define and enforce best practices for microservices development and integration.

 

    eCommerce Expertise:

        Leverage deep understanding of eCommerce concepts, specifically in Cart and Checkout functionalities.

        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of microservices into the overall eCommerce system.

 

    Scalability and Performance:

        Architect solutions that ensure scalability, high performance, and low latency for Cart and Checkout processes.

        Conduct performance tuning and optimization of microservices to meet business and user requirements.

 

    Technology Stack:

        Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend technology stacks suitable for microservices development in an eCommerce environment.

 

    Collaboration and Communication:

        Work closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient microservices solutions.

        Effectively communicate architectural decisions and rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

    Security and Compliance:

        Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of user and transaction data.

        Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to eCommerce and microservices architecture.

 

Requirements:

 

    Proven experience as a Microservices Architect with a focus on eCommerce.

    Strong expertise in designing and implementing microservices architecture.

    In-depth knowledge of eCommerce concepts, with a specific emphasis on Cart and Checkout functionalities.

    Proficiency in selecting and implementing appropriate technology stacks for microservices development.

    Experience in optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability of microservices.

    Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

    Familiarity with security best practices and compliance in eCommerce environments.

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
