JOB DETAIL

1) Terrm: 7 month Contract

Max Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Estimated Start Date: February, 2024 or sooner

A Virtual Desktop will be provided 

Required Qualifications: 

o    High school diploma or equivalency

o    Some College 

o    Must be able to complete 40 working hours between Monday-Friday, 8-5pm.

 Desirable Qualifications:

o    Knowledge of Sales and Distribution (SD) and Financial Management -- Asset Management (FI-AM) modules.  This position will focus on Sales Orders/Deliveries as well as Project Systems (WBS and asset settlement rules), Asset/Equipment tracking processes

o    Task oriented

o    Spreadsheet/Excel Experience

o    Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, yet work independently 

o    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

 Responsibilities:

o    Programming, WBS and asset settlement rules for rental initiative, build new SAP interfaces with existing programs, work with BSA’s to gather and establish requirements

 Screening Questions: 

  • Please describe your experience working with the enhancement framework. What process do you use to determine if an enhancement or customization is required, and how do you decide which type of enhancement to use?
  • Have you worked with ABAP Objects? Please describe a scenario where you would create global classes to fulfill a requirement.
  • How do you avoid duplicating code when working with a new client? Please describe the process you follow for determining if the client has existing custom or standard code that fulfills all or part of a new requirement. 
  • Are you comfortable working directly with business users to gather requirements and develop a solution? Please describe a project in which you worked with a cross-functional group including varying levels of technical expertise in SAP. What steps did you take to make sure the communication was effective? 
  • Please describe your experiences where you have had to come up with customer solutions to problems that out of the box SAP did not solve for.

o    Work with internal customers in the business to gather requirements, help programmers build and deliver changes, knowledge of WBS and asset settlement rules.  

 Screening Questions: 

    • Describe your experience with: 
      • Customized asset settlement/auto-settlement programs
      • Kitted/non-kitted articles - specifically impact to equipment/assets
      • Designing and creating new asset classes
      • Sales & use tax configuration for Vertex O. Specifically, on Sales/Billing side (only listed this one last because we do not expect someone with AM to have this also, otherwise, it would be higher on our list) 
    • Share your experience with designing and implementing custom solutions in any of the above areas
