• Provide oversight for architecture assessment and design for infrastructure, information or integration domains that provide core capabilities for the enterprise.
• Lead Architecture design of end-to-end enterprise integrated systems that serves multiple business functions.
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data model and metadata structures for complex projects.
• Define which data is extracted and the rules by which it is transformed for complex projects.
• Initiate and deliver technology evaluation and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain current, planned and future state architecture blueprints.
• Lead the efforts for Enterprise Technology and Application Rationalization. Ensure programs maintain an enterprise-wide view to support adoption of standards and practices and promote reuse.
• Develop, improve, validate, and use tools to facilitate architecture efforts.
• Lead in the development and alignment of the roadmaps with the business strategy.
• Lead in the identification and analysis of enterprise business drivers and requirements that drive the future state architecture.
• Initiate and deliver Strategic Roadmaps and gain commitment for enterprise level architecture.
• Lead strategy and architecture for new enterprise technology platforms and leads business architecture for a specific business function.
Required Education and Experience for Data Architect:
• Minimum of an Associate's degree in computer programming or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
• Possess a comprehensive background with over 10 years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Expert proficiency in both logical and physical data modeling, demonstrating a deep understanding of structuring and organizing data for optimal utilization.
• Demonstrated mastery of various computer software, including but not limited to SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle.
• Proven ability to architect, implement, and optimize robust data solutions to meet business requirements and objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications for Data Architect:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the capability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities to provide guidance and support to junior members of the data engineering team.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
