TEKsystems' Client is hiring several Java developers to join their teams and upskill their skill ability. They are looking for senior developers that think out side of the box and like to work on challenging problems to solve. They want developers who have shown their ability to influence the engineering environment in their previous roles and want to join the team at the end of their contract to continue being innovative and making a difference.

This team is a java team but .Net applications also exist in Pharmacys environment. If your candidate is open to learning or knows java and .Net they will be selected first for interviews.

- 5 - 8 years of experience developing web services or distributed, messaging and event-based systems

- 3- 5 years of experience with database management systems senior Software Engineer

Mandatory technology stack:

Java 8 or newer

Web services development

REST API exposure

Cloud deployment. ( GCP or Azure preferred)

Springstack

Docker containerization

Kafa for messaging.

Eventbase-driven architecture environments.

• Experience with RESTful APIs

• Experience implementing automation testing for Web Services

• Experience developing automated tests within a test automation framework

• Strong Java programming language experience

• Familiarity with SQL and working knowledge of relational database technologies

• Previous experience implementing test frameworks and harnesses

• Experience with web technologies: HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, etc.

• Hands-on experience working in agile software delivery teams

• Strong analytical and organizational skills, and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to deploy to the cloud with the CICD pipeline and Kubernetes.

This role is a hybrid role based in Bentonville, AR. When they go full-time they will need to live nearby Bentonville,AR, Hoboken NJ or Dallas, TX. On days that they are not working in the lab with the team, they will be allowed to work remotely from home. People who will relocate to Bentonville will be shortlisted first.
