Our direct client is looking to hire a remote contractor for a Denodo implementation/Modernization project. 4-6 month contract, must be based in the United States.
Overview: The organization is currently building a modernized, Medallion Architecture data ecosystem comprised of various technology platforms. We are seeking a highly experienced Denodo Architect to join our team to act as an expert on Denodo implementations with a lens on scalability, pitfalls to avoid, optimization strategies and future-thinking architecture. The ideal candidate will also have history of implementing and scaling Denodo as part of a larger, complex architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and insight on design and implementation of Denodo as part of a larger data ecosystem modernization effort.
- Collaborate closely with other platform leaders to ensure seamless integration of Denodo solutions into broader data ecosystem
- Provide both technical expertise and architectural guidance for implementation, scaling and optimization of the platform.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Denodo and related data technologies.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale Denodo solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Consulting experience is a must, with a knack for understanding client needs and translating them into actionable solutions.
- Understanding of Denodo both from a platform configuration and implementation perspective.
- someone who has ideally implemented Denodo previously with Snowflake/data warehouse.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in Denodo or related technologies.
- Experience in other big data platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with a range of technology solutions to provide holistic data strategies for clients.
- Experience with DataIKU
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
