JOB DETAIL

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the development of a response to Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Matters Requiring Attention (MRA). The MRA is regarding credit default cost model process.

 

The response involves working with the client Single Family modeling and business teams as well as the Second Line teams to define, implement and document a model process governance framework:

  • Work with the client technical/modeling and business teams to implement changes to the model process governance framework:
  • Facilitate communication of changes across the client Single Family technical/modeling teams and the business areas.
  • Convert technical documents and requirements into defined processes and procedures.
  • Ensure consistency of concepts, calculations, data variables and metadata (e.g. definitions, lineage, assumptions) across different models.
  • Implement controls to ensure that inputs are being used accurately and appropriately.
  • Synthesize information gathered from the models, data and the model process into documentation that can be understood by technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Validate updated processes and procedures, and review documentation for client internal review prior to FHFA re-assessment.

 

Technical Skills:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in mortgage industry, preferably GSE experience in modeling, MRA resolution, model .
  • Great time-management, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and a Keen collaborator.
