Seeking a talented mid-level software engineer with excellent Python programming skills to work on the Automation , automating test cases with the Robot Framework.
The engineer will work with a small team automating tests that accurately measure functional and non-functional behaviors of the components of the Spectrum Connectivity Platform solution to support Continious Delivery goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming, understanding core design concepts, such as modularization, loosely coupling, and abstraction.

Candidates will be required to demonstrate their programming skills during the interview process.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge:

Strong Python experience
Knowledgeable in CI/CD toolkits and pipelines, preferably Harness or Gitlab
Experience with Testrails
Experience with testing frameworks or libraries, preferably Robot Framework
Strong understanding of REST Calls, and understanding API concepts
Experience with Git
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Proficient using JIRA for work management and reporting
Able to learn basic hardware setups and help with lab set ups when needed

Soft Skills:
Able to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
Selfstarter, self-motivated, driven individual with ability to adapt with shifting priorities
Creative solving of technical problems to ensure the ability to translate technical requirements into test plans
Ability to track multiple test efforts simultaneously and to be able to synthesize the results in fast paced environment
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Easy to get along with and a team player
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledgeable in/or have an interest in learning basic networking
