Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP projects, particularly with a focus on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in S4 HANA and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. The role requires in-depth knowledge of SAP SD configurations, pricing, user exits, and familiarity with ABAP programming for customization. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record in project management, integration with external systems, and experience with Apple PLC is preferred.

Responsibilities:

SAP SD Design and Configuration:

Specialized in the design and configuration of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.

Proficient in configuring SAP SD user exits for sales order, delivery, billing, etc.

Technical Expertise:

Ability to debug ABAP and perform SAP configurations in the SAP SD area.

Writing functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom programs and interfaces.

SD Module Knowledge:

• Good knowledge of SD pricing strategies.
• Understanding of SD account assignment and revenue recognition processes.
• Experience with intercompany postings and pro forma invoices.
• Integration and Project Management:
• Hands-on experience in integrating SAP projects with external systems and business partners.
• Project management experience in SAP projects, ensuring integration with external systems and business partners, with a preference for prior experience with Apple PLC.
• Business Strategy Support:
• Understanding new business strategies and providing recommendations for automated solutions to support these strategies.
• Communication and Presentation:
• Ability to present designs and system developments to a business audience of 10-20 people.
• Collaborate with business users from all regions to define scope and gather business requirements.

Design and Development:

Providing conceptual and detailed design to meet business needs.

Writing detailed specifications for the development of ABAP custom programs.

Testing and Rollout:

Testing and overseeing the rollout of the final product.

Independence and Multi-Project Management:

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP projects.

Preferred experience in S4 HANA.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.

Experience with SAP SD user exits, pricing, account assignment, and revenue recognition.

ABAP programming skills for SAP customization.

Knowledge of SAP iDocs for order induction.

Project management experience with integration to external systems and business partners.

Familiarity with Apple PLC is preferred.
