- Utilize a minimum of 10+ years of experience to engineer innovative solutions that meet the business requirements.
- Develop applications using mainframe technologies, including COBOL, DB2, SAS, JCL, IMS, CICS, REXX, VSAM, z/OS, TSO, ISPF, SYNCSORT, Mainframe utilities, Jobtrac- job scheduler, ISPW- change management tool.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in relational databases such as Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL.
- Possess excellent communication skills for effective interaction with business lines and cross-functional IT teams.
- Take part in production support activities on a rotation basis to ensure the stability and performance of mainframe applications.
- Provide leadership by training junior staff and leading initiatives in both Application Development and Production Support.
- Bring valuable experience in the mortgage industry to contribute insights and solutions specific to the domain.
- Explore and implement Mainframe integration with APIs, and actively participate in IT modernization efforts.
- Encourage and champion a Continuous Exploration process, embracing challenges with a calculated risk-taking mindset.
