JD Scrum Master Description:
- You will be responsible for the administrative, coaching and leadership roles that make Scrum development/delivery possible.
- This role will also do coaching and mentoring 2-3 teams simultaneously on agile principles and project deliverables, driving teams to maturity.
- Embody agile principles, embed best practices, measure and improve agile maturity, identify and raise obstacles.
- Provide one-on-one and team coaching of ceremonies, artefacts, processes and practices.

- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. ·
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
Requirements:
- Efficient in partnering with Business stake holders and business sponsors to lead strategic initiatives
- Excellent knowledge in managing Complex Business initiatives, Strong communication skills and Leadership skills
- Ability to work with minimal guidance Self-starter and lead independently, Should be able to resolve conflicts.
- Strong exposure to Agile and Waterfall Model and tools e.g. JIRA, Confluence etc.
