Design, implement, monitor, enhance, and troubleshoot systems in assigned areas.
Analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation as needed.
Test and review system designs.
Provide Engineering Technical support and guidance to regional personnel, ensuring compliance with technical integration, changes, standards, and documentation.
Mentor and guide the work of technical staff.
Review work plans and designs, offering advice on improvements.
Adhere to industry-specific local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable.
Understand and follow company policies.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of related industry specifications and standards, including IEEE, ANSI, Fiber (Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet, and Transport technologies and protocols.
Fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP and the OSI Model.
Basic understanding of network devices and appliances.
Knowledge of network designing software, such as Visio.
3+ years of experience in PON (Passive Optical Networks).
3+ years of experience in DOCSIS.
5 years of experience in the network space.

Candidate must live in Denver or be willing to relocate without assistance.
