Responsibilities for salesforce architect
- Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with stakeholders
- Assume ownership of identified projects, platforms, and architecture roadmaps
- Create capability, conduct gap analysis, solution designs, proof-of-concepts, and reference application / information architectures
- Engage stakeholders across organization to support project objectives through the application of sound architectural principles
- Provide portfolio oversight on technologies and solutions aligned to enable business capabilities
- Handle multiple concurrent initiatives achieving short-term commitments while advancing strategic objectives
- Establish standards and guidelines for the design and development, tuning, deployment and maintenance of enterprise assets
- Lead all members of a project in implementing your design including review of development artifacts to ensure the solution adheres to platform and architectural best practices
- Experience migrating data between relational tools and Salesforce, using ETL tools such as Data Loader, Dell Boomi, or Informatica
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven environment
Qualifications for salesforce architect
- Strong technical skills with minimum 7 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years as a Salesforce Architect
- Expert level knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud and Force.com/Salesforce1 platform
- Experience enabling Salesforce solutions on mobile platforms
- Experience implementing AppExchange applications
- Knowledge of platform limitations and mitigation strategies
- Experience with Release and Change Management best practices on the Salesforce platform
