• Build effective and visually pleasing dashboards/reports to represent the story to answer those business questions with the help of data. 
• Analyze data and present information through informative visuals and reports to aid decision-making. 
• Extract data from SQL databases and other data sources and combine to create a data model.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and identify opportunities for data-driven insights
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Develop unit test-cases and execute, share results.
• Perform peer code review and implement optimized queries for faster dashboard load times. 
• Apply best practices through the development lifecycle. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer with expertise in DAX queries, M queries, data visualization, gateways, and connectors.
• Expert creating different visualizations using Slicers, Lines, Pies, Histograms, Maps, Scatter, Bullets, Heat Maps, Tree maps, etc.
• Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst certification is a plus.
• Working and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sharepoint. 
• Expertise in writing SQL queries and data extraction using ODBC/JDBC.
