JOB DETAIL

Responsibilities:

  • Strong functional/technical knowledge and expertise with relevant systems/applications in the healthcare benefits area.
  • Experience of working with qualified Health Plans, and various segments/Lobs, Group level Product and benefit plans.
  • Defines, evaluates, and validates requirements, business functional design, and technical design for complex business issues within their domain areas.
  • Knowledge of Benefits1 Simplify Healthcare and other cloud-based systems.
  • (Highroads, PEGA, Salesforce, etc.), Queries, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of working on Facets is a plus.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural issues to the business and IT.

  • Provide systems analysis expertise and regularly considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

  • Configure and maintain critical system tables and data elements across multiple system environments.
  • Analyze, develop, and implement configuration changes to improve system performance and user efficiency.
  • Coordinate the development of system support processes with IT; coordinate to resolve.
  • production support issues, including application failures and user errors; document, track and report all system support activities.
  • Ensure efficiency of reporting and data tools for supported business area use and for trend analysis.
  • Function as a Business Lead/Coordinator on large, complex departmental and/or some corporate projects/initiatives.
  • Serve as point of contact for business testing activities and influence testing strategy to ensures testing will appropriately meet business requirements.
  • Train/coach others on appropriate testing protocol, execution, and test plan creation.
  • Assist IT and help identify business area impacts for hardware and software upgrades,
  • security changes, and architectural enhancements as needed.

Qualifications, Minimum qualifications

  • Knowledge of Benefits1 Simplify Healthcare and other cloud-based systems.
  • (Highroads, PEGA, Salesforce, etc.), Queries, and SQL.
  • Undergraduate degree with 5 years of direct application/systems analysis experience with
  • applicable business system or application, if no degree, 7 years’ experience as stated above.
  • 5 years + Experience in Healthcare Industry with focus on benefits (benefits, claims,
  • membership, enrollment, Customer Service etc.)
  • Understanding for FACETS application (front end and back end)
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge and support in system/application and procedural.
